Welcome to Sigma Card Grading LLC (“Sigma,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By submitting cards or using our services, you (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.


1. Eligibility & Agreement


• You must be at least 18 years old to submit cards or use our services.

• By submitting items or using our website, you agree to these Terms.


2. Submission Guidelines


• Cards may be submitted via our website or approved in-person events.

• All submissions must be genuine and untampered. Cards suspected of trimming, recoloring, restoration, or forgery may be rejected without refund.

• Sigma reserves the right to accept or reject any submission for any reason, including but not limited to suspected tampering, inappropriate content, or logistical constraints.

• Rejected items will be returned ungraded, and a partial refund may be issued at Sigma’s discretion.


3. Grading Standards & Subjectivity


• Grading is based on human judgment with the assistance of Artificial Intelligence.

• It is inherently subjective and may vary over time.

• Sigma makes no guarantees regarding future valuation, resale potential, or third-party acceptance of grades.


4. Turnaround Times


• Estimated turnaround times are not guaranteed and exclude holidays or office closures.

• While all reasonable attempts will be made to uphold turnaround times, Sigma is not liable for delays.

• No refunds will be issued due to missed turnaround estimates.


5. Fees & Payments


• All fees are listed on our website and are subject to change.

• Payments are to be made in advance unless agreed in writing for each order.

• No items will be returned without full payment.

• If items are sent without payment, and payment is not received within 180 days, the customer surrenders possession of the submitted items.

• Customers must send in cards for service within 60 days of completing purchase. If cards are not received within this window, any modification or cancellation agreed to by Sigma may be subject to a processing, handling, and/or shipping fee.


6. Order Cancellation & Modification


• All orders are considered final once submitted.

• If a situation warrants, orders may be cancelled or modified only at the discretion of Sigma.

• Customers may be responsible for processing, handling, and/or shipping fees associated with any approved changes.


7. Liability


• Sigma will exercise the utmost care in handling your items.

• Liability is limited to the full cost of services purchased.

• Sigma is not liable for items not in our possession, including during inbound or outbound shipping.


8. Insurance


• All shipping insurance agreements are held between the customer and the insurance provider and are subject to the insurer’s terms. Sigma is not a party to these agreements.

• Standard return ground shipping via USPS includes $100 insurance (subject to change based on USPS policies).

• Supplemental insurance may be added at the customer’s discretion during checkout at SigmaCardGrading.com.

• Additional shipping options can be arranged by contacting us directly.


9. Ownership & Image Rights


• By submitting items, you grant Sigma the right to photograph and publish images of your cards for marketing, educational, or archival purposes.

• All images created or modified by Sigma remain our property.

 

10. Errors & Corrections


• Clerical or grading errors may occur. If you notice a discrepancy, notify us within 5 business days of receiving your order.

• Resolution options may include partial or full refund of impacted item(s) and/or correction of error(s).

 

11. Promotions


• Promotional pricing or offers are valid only during the specified time window and may not be retroactively applied.

• Sigma reserves the right to modify or discontinue promotions at any time.

12. Third-Party Services


• Our website may link to third-party services. Sigma is not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.

13. Governing Law


• These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan.

• Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Clinton County, Michigan.
